a wabi-sabi newsletter
Monday October 25 2021
Hi —
How are you feeling?
Ready for the week?
Let’s take a breath
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese aesthetic worldview which gently suggests — Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, nothing is perfect — and that’s beautiful
Recap
Last week I held my first public workshop aka virtual field trip in partnership with the Creative Mornings community and it felt wonderful. There were around 300 registered participants zooming in from a few continents and we spent an hour breathing, reflecting, journaling, and sharing individual / collective experiences of our digital habits (both positive and negative).
I left with three takeaways:
These shared virtual experiences will be happening monthly
On top of synchronous experiences, there will also be an asynchronous one, in other words, an online course.
There will be in-person retreats in 2022.

Announcement
What does WFH (working from home) look like for you? We’re limited on space here at home so I found a brilliant solution called The Edge Desk. I made this reel to showcase the ease and delight with which to open / close the ergonomic desk, and since then I’ve made contact with the company and their warm team.
What does that mean for you?
Use code ‘ADAM15’ to receive 15% off an edge desk and revolutionize your work from home setup.
While I’m completing my training in Emotional Well-being Coaching to become a board certified health and wellness coach with NBHWC, I’m supporting clients in digital habits coaching.
Are you interested in exploring what types of support you would like to have on your journey towards a tech / life balance?
Thank you for reading this newsletter.
Have a pleasant week.
